Bahaidata:Publication items
Items that represent publications like a book must have P47 (title) defined for the data to be available for automatic inclusion in citations on Bahaipedia. The full list of properties and their descriptions that can be used for publication items are:
Human readable name, property number, datatype:
- title P47 (Monolingual text)
- author P10 (item)
- publication date P29 (date)
- publisher P26 (item)
- country of origin P48 (item)
- ISBN-10 P31 (external identifier)
- ISBN-13 P49 (external identifier)
If the datatype is "item" and the item in question does not exist you will first need to create it. For example you want to add P48 "country of origin" is "France" but no item number representing France exists, use Special:NewItem to create it, then you can add it to the publication item.
Citations on Bahaipedia[edit]
The above information is used for automatic citation creation using the cite template on Bahaipedia. P47 "title" is required to ensure data is only requested from items specifically created for the purpose of being used in citations. Aside from the title, all other information is optional.
Additional properties[edit]
The following properties are not used by Bahaipedia's cite template but can still be included for other purposes:
- image P35 (Media file)
- page(s) P6 (string)
